vTiger customization updates – Import with relationship settings in module

Hello Folks,

We implemented feature in vTiger to import data in child module to link respected parent record.

For example : If you have spreadsheet with list of the organization record with “Primary phone” as key field and spreadsheet with list of the Contact record with “Home phone” as key field.

In above scenario if you wants to import records in contact module to link related field of organization module by considering phone # as key field than our solution will useful for you.

We added one more step in the import record step to match primary and secondary module key field as above.

Its very useful for those users with multiple spreadsheet with different key field as some company has SSN#,Phone# etc.. has key field.

Below is live example of the test import .

• 1. Organization record list with data.

• 2. Import contact where “Office Phone” is key field to map with Primary Phone of company.
• 

• 3. Settings in step#2 above will link organization as related field in contact’s record.
•
